Cougar sales dropped in 1968, but given the huge send off of '67, this was not surprising. The newer styling that would appear in1969 was not on ine yet, making the 1968 model a mere carryover for this year. Cougar did receive 428 CID power, and in some instances a 427 CID option. Even so, 113,726 was still a solid sales performance. The Automotive History Preservation Society Digital Documents Library provides these materials for educational, or research, or personal use.
