1934 Chevrolet Car Ads

1934 Master Series DA - SIX: Chevrolet's top series grew 2.0" in wheelbase for 1934, yet the  "Air-stream" styling was unchanged. A new V-type radiator/grille was fitted, and the hood was longer and wider. Deeper crown fenders were also new. There were three horizontal hood louvers that decreased in length from top to bottom. A new, winged hood ornament graced the radiator shell. Prices increased significantly this year, with the Cabriolet now at $695.

1934 Standard Series DC - SIX: The Dc was the Standard and were much the same as last year. A new longer hood with horizontal streamlined louvers was also used. The standard models used painted headlight buckets and featured less bright metal trim.

The No-Draft ventilation system was improved for this year across the board. Knee Action coil spring front suspension and a new X-Y frame was fitted on the DA Series. The Master Series "Blue Flame" six had a new type valve and rocker arm arrangement with the  206.8 CID OHV I-6 now making 80 HP. The Standard's 181 CID OHV I-6 delivered 60 HP.

Production was 555,371  with 452,412 Master Series and 98,959 Standard Series. A good increase from 1933's total of 486,378.

"Knee Action" modern A-Arm coil spring front suspension was new in the Master Series for 1934 & horsepower jumped from 65 to 80 as well.
