Factory Press Information Kits, also known as Media Information Kits, included a variety of materials together or separate. Many times they are even today sent to the media with the intent that they will be published as an announcement or article. These kits included, but were not limited to, such items as: press releases, black & white and color publicity photos, color 35mm slides, specifications sheets, sales brochures, and data sheets. NOTE: There were 4 press releases delivered on March 2, 1966 to celebrate the one millionth Mustang produced. The four individual releases that were part of the package are enclosed as separate documents - Courtesy of the Ford Motor Company Marketing Archives. The Automotive History Preservation Society Digital Documents Library provides these materials for educational, or research, or personal use.
