1968 Buick GS Ads

1968 was a hot year for the Buick GS - both the GS-350 and the 400. The new A-body style intorduced at GM blew away the customers and caused a run on these cars - coupled with the huge muscle car mania (then called "supercar" mania), it was as if Buick and all of GM could do no wrong.

Buick also introdiced a high power option called the "Stage1" toward the middle of the model year. Stage 1 and Stage 2 (1969-71) cars would wow the press and the public with their awesome preformance.

But for now, in 1968, Buick would almost double GS production with 26,4365 cars produced versus about 15 thousand in 1967.
