Sales brochures
are bound booklets that were distributed through authorized sales
outlets. The method of binding was normally saddle stitching - stapled,
or perfect binding - glued spine. For the most part, these brochures
were given out free of charge. The prestige brochures were sometimes
available in limited quantity and presented only to more serious sales
prospects. Dealer folders were handout or mail-distributed tools intended for sales and promotion purposes. Folders were also issued as salesman's informational tools such as fleet folders and accessories folders, Folders consisted of a single sheet of paper or card stock. These sheets were then folded one or more times. Since folders were comprised of one sheet, they did not utilize staples or stitches. Dealer sheets are single one or two-sided pages or cards measuring 8.5" x 11" or 11" x 8.5". Items with smaller measurements are cards. Items with larger measurements are considered posters. Resale of these images, without proper licensing, is not permitted under U.S. copyright law. |
