1966 Buick Skylark Gran Sport Ads |
|||||
The Skylark Gran Sport was now firmly established as an option/model for Buick. In 1966, "Gran Sport was truncated to "GS" to move it in line with the similar option on the Wildcat and Riviera. The car was further refined, and a 340 HP version of the 401 Nailhead was offered, this one sporting a Quadrajet carb. Production dropped slightly from 15, 780 in 1965 to 13,816 - but it was selling enough to be justified. |
