1956 Ford Thunderbird Ads

The Thunderbird was a year old, and Ford was applying what they had learned.

As a result, they offered a slew of options: 225 HP 312 cu. in. V8, new "portholes" in the removable hardtop, and a outside spare tire; also known as a "Continental Kit", which added much more room to the small trunk.

Production dropped slightly over the introductory year, but was still more than expected at 15,631.
