1967 Plymouth Mid-Size Car Ads

The mid-size distinction was established in 1965 with the Fury moving up to a 119 inch wheelbase, and the Belvedere and Satellite/GTX occupying the 116 inch mid-size segment. Of course, the engine of choice for performance applications, could you afford it, was the Hemi, followed by the 440.

All sold well, but the new Barracuda chopped into the mid-size line sales a bit, but 150 thousand units was in line with the factory's expectations. Next year would bring a dramatic restyle that it was hoped would increase sales.
