For 1970 the Dart changed little from the previous year except for a mild front and rear restyle. The GT was gone, replaced by the Dart Swinger 340, which surprisingly was not the highest trim level - that was ceded to the Dart Custom. Total Production for the Dart Line was 155,382. Dart Custom made up 40,987 of the total with the Swinger 340 making up 13,785.
