1961 Chrysler 300G Ads |
|||||
The 1961 300G was in many ways a redux of the 1960 model. It came with the same 413 cu in V8 and delivered identical 375 HP along with the special "cross-ram" intake manifold. The bodywork was almost identical to 1960, and used Chrysler's new lightweight unibody construction. The "toilet seat" phony spare tier embossing on the trunk lid that had contributed to a demeaning opinion of the 300F was done away with in this year of production. Next year would bring a new body and some exciting features. |
