1965 Barracuda Ads

Introduced as a response to the Mustang, the Barracuda was much more Valiant than the Mustang was Falcon. Regardless, it was sporty and cool looking and it sold reasonalble well.

In 1965, in response to the Hi-Po Mustang, Barracuda released the "Formula S" or just "S" as it was known, a high performance version. Sales jumped to 64,596, about one eighth of Mustang Sales, but still a success.
