1964 Buick LeSabre Ads

Buick was slotted just below Cadillac, in a place virtually un occupied by any other make. As such, Buick had moved the LeSabre downstream a bit in 1963 in an attempt to lure Mercury and high-end dodge buyers.

For 1964, the LeSabre sported the new 300 cubic inch small block derived from the old and tiny 215 aluminum V-8, with the 340 inch version as an option, rather than the base 401 inch big block.
