1953 Buick Skylark Ads |
|||||
In addition to introducing a new V-8 engine, a new Century/Roadmaster Chassis, Buick also introduced a spanking new sports luxury roadster called the Skylark. Based on the Roadmaster Chassis, the Skylark was basically hand-built with a Roamaster convertible body sectioned and customized at the rear. While it had a rear seat, it was designed to look smaller than it's high-end cousin, though it was not. Fitted with the Roadmaster V-8 which sported a slightly higher compression and dual exhaust, it had some 1950s scat, though not from a standing start. |
