1966 Buick Riviera Ads |
|||||
The Riviera received bold new styling in '66 mirroring the new styling of the just released Toronado. Both used the new "E" body but Buick chose to remain a RWD platform. Both designs were dramatic - the Buick design was crisp and clean and very modern. It must have resonated with the public because 10,782 more Rivieras were delivered in '66 for a total of 45,348, for the largest number per year to date.
