Jeff Allee’s 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge

As seen at the 15th annual American Iron car show

One thing about entering car shows is that you never know who will park next to you. No Limits has been very lucky at the last few shows to have absolutely cool cars park right next to our 442. The search for featured car material could not get easier. At this year’s American Iron car show, we had just pulled into a nice shady spot when a drop dead perfect 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge rumbled up and parked right next to us. You could instantly see that this was a superb quality car and the owner –Jeff Allee – set out signage that included a framed identification graphic; detailed description of a Pontiac GTO Judge; and original window sticker. Probably neatest of all was a scale model of the car sitting on the radiator.

Turns out Jeff has owned his car for 31 years and it is in showroom condition. From the perfect Carousel Red paint and special Judge graphics to the finely detailed Ram Air III engine, this Judge rules !! Speaking of the engine, Jeff had the original engine completely “blueprinted.” Additionally, it is equipped with forged, dome top pistons, and a Competition Magnum, hydraulic cam. This cam is a slight upgrade from the factory cam with 475 lift at 275 duration, providing 12:1 compression. A PerTronix ignition with a 40K volt Flamethrower coil fires off this beast.

Power is transmitted through an M20 Muncie close ratio 4-speed to Safe-T-Track 3:23 rear end. BF Goodrich Radial T/A’s on original 14 inch Pontiac Rally II rims put the power on the ground.

Inside we find a factory perfect black bucket seat interior with optional center console for the 4-speed shifter. This Judge is cool on the hottest days thanks to the factory tinted glass and air conditioning. A hood mounted tachometer, factory rally gauge package, power steering and brakes help make the Judge a real driver’s car.

Jeff and No Limits had a long discussion of Pontiac GTOs and Judges in particular. Jeff is a real authority on Judges. Pontiac ad/marketing legend Jim Wangers has signed the passenger side sunvisor as testament to the originality of this Judge. As we stated in the beginning, sometimes a Featured Car just parks right next to you and Jeff Allee’s GTO Judge is our Featured Car.
