Auto History Preservation Society Acquires the Wild About Cars Library!
Click on the Thumbnails Below to Enlarge Wild About Cars, LLC (WAC) and the Auto History Preservation Society (AHPS) cemented a deal this past week, the result of which you might have noticed when you came to the Wild About Cars Website. Essentially, Wild About Cars transferred the property rights to our digital library collection to the jurisdiction of the Society's Automotive History Documents Library. Under this property transfer, the Automotive Documents Library will maintain and grow the materials formerly found in the Wild About Cars Factory Publications, Magazine Collection, Photo Archive, and the Factory Advertisements and Brochures collections. The AHPS will be just as aggressive in growing these collections, so never fear. Wild About Cars will continue to maintain and grow the Technical Section, the Latest News and Features Articles, Blogs, and our e-commerce Buy and Sell Sections. Of course, we will continue to add to our Clubs, Communities and other social networking materials like your Garage. We will continue to bring you the "No Limits" Newsletter, which will now have a portion of it dedicated to the Society and the materials found in the Library. What does it mean to WAC members? You will still receive seamless access to the materials under the Society's control, using your WAC member sign-in. The only change that may be noticeable will be the difference in the page headers and some minor navigation tweaks, BUT Brand Central, Your Dashboard and other links you may have book marked will remain the same. In fact, even links in the old Newsletters will still work, since we employed some programming trick to see that this will continue to happen. So sit back, continue to enjoy and join us in welcoming the AHPS and the Auto Documents Library to the fold. We think you are going to like the changes - some of which will continue to occur over the next few weeks.
