1966 GM Engineering Journal


The GM Engineering Journal started publication in 1953. This magazine-style offering was aimed at the scholastic market, perhaps as a supplement to a pre-engineering high school program or a college-level course.

The magazine was published on a quarterly basis. The first two issues each year were devoted to a single make and model of GM vehicle, and delved into such subjects as: drivetrain development, styling, and manufacturing processes.

The first two quarters of the 1966 Journal were devoted to the new Toronado
