Goodguys 25th Summer Get Together

Goodguys 25th Summer Get-Together - June 2 & 3, 2018 - Alameda County Fairgrounds

by No Limits Staff

The Goodguys 25th Summer Get-together was one of the best Goodguys events we've covered in the past 5 years. The weather was hot, dry and sunny. The cars, trucks and bikes were awesome. The attractions and events were mind blowing and the friends we met were great.

A shout out to the "Shelby Boys" for providing us with shade, cool drink and hospitality.

A 1969 COPO Chevelle - the real deal! Albert Galdi's COPO #9566AA 427 Chevelle

by Tweed Vorhees - Contributing Editor

In 1969 the COPO program was being fully utilized by Chevrolet performance dealers. In addition to the legendary 1969 COPO Camaros, GM built 323 COPO Chevelles powered by the L-72 427 CID 425 HP with accompanying heavy duty parts.

Albert Galdi has one of the most documented and original 1969 COPO Chevelles and the best part- he restored it himself !

A little bit about EATON Detroit Spring, Inc.
Since 1937, car people have bought from, trusted, and shouted from the rooftops all about EATON Detroit Spring. Founded by Frank and Grace EATON inn 1937.

Many years have gone by and they still use the original plant to produce springs, giving us the experience and time required to become the leading manufacturer of leaf and coil springs for the restoration and street rod markets.

They have accrued over 24,000 Original Equipment Spring Blueprints over the years, giving us the leading edge in leaf spring design and manufacture over everybody else in the industry.

Mike runs the company now, along with his daughter Kim, the grandson and great-granddaughter of Frank and Grace.

Society Store

The AHPS announces the opening of our new store!

The new AHPS store contains the original hard paper material we have digitized and stored on the website. This material includes magazines, manufacturer's brochures and advertisements donated to the Society by people who recognized that our mission is critical to the preservation of automotive history.

Also, certain members have created and donated pictures, posters, and other automotive memorabilia for us to sell to raise funds. All materials are sold to raise money to operate the website. We are a 501 c3 not for profit.
