This is the "Crown Jewel". The 32nd Goodguys West Coast Nationals. And a jewel it was ! The Alameda Country Fairgrounds is huge with acres and acres of grounds and lots of roads around the exhibition buildings. Every square inch and then some was filled with cars.
The West Coast Nationals draws in thousands of pre-1986 cars of every description-- roadsters, coupes, customs, drag cars -- you name it an it was there
Put all that together with the Goodguys Autocross, Swap Meet, Cars-for-Sale Corral, vendors and more -- it's three days of non-stop excitement for all . . .

The annual Woodward Dream Cruise was -- once again -- a big success. Following the fabled Woodward avenue through the suburbs of Detroit, the Cruise draws in all type of cool rides and tens of thousands of spectators is arguably the largest cruise-in anywhere.

Holley Small Block Chevy Intake Manifolds For Both EFI and Carbureted Applications |

The single-plane EFI intake manifolds point the injectors at an angle matching the intake-runner airflow angle and come complete with black-coated fuel rails and rail brackets for an easy, hassle-free installation (injectors not included). They are perfect for 1957-86 small blocks from 262-400 cubic inches and 1987-91 Corvette L98 aluminum cylinder heads and are compatible with any after-market heads with a standard port-flange opening and standard mounting-bolt locations. A throttle-cable bracket and kickdown-cable bracket are available separately.
Like the EFI manifold, the SBC 4150 Single Plane Carbureted Intake Manifold creates a wide power band for high-performance street/strip applications up to 7,500 RPM. The carburetor-mounting pad accepts all stock and after-market square-bore carburetors with either manual or electric chokes. It works with most stock hardware and accessory brackets and features an updated plenum divider area, a one-inch-shorter overall height, and two different distributor-clamp locations.
As with the EFI intake, SBC 4150 Single Plane Carbureted Intake Manifolds feature isolated air/fuel passages to increase charge-air density and overall performance. They're ideal for 1957-86 small blocks from 262-400 cubic inches and 1987-91 Corvette L98 aluminum cylinder heads and compatible with any after-market heads with a standard port-flange opening and standard mounting-bolt locations.

The AHPS announces the opening of our new store! |

The new AHPS store contains the original hard paper material we have digitized and stored on the website. This material includes magazines, manufacturer's brochures and advertisements donated to the Society by people who recognized that our mission is critical to the preservation of automotive history.
Also, certain members have created and donated pictures, posters, and other automotive memorabilia for us to sell to raise funds. All materials are sold to raise money to operate the website. We are a 501 c3 not for profit.
